A Skelmorlie group has warned that fire station crews could be hampered from attending 999 calls by irresponsible parking.
Resident Jamye Lee Walker, secretary of Skelmorlie Tenants and Residents Association, said that it was an ongoing problem, and has been flagged up on social media.
Jamye said: "There is an ongoing issue with irresponsible parking at the bottom of Toward View during the school run for Skelmorlie Primary School.
"This issue is a danger as it can block access to the fire station situated at the bottom of the road and could be a big issue when the Fire Service receives a callout.
"Despite previous attempts with the help of the school to stop this, the situation remains unchanged."
"Skelmorlie Tenants and Residents Association have worked on this in the past and with the help of Largs Police, Skelmorlie Fire Station and Skelmorlie Primary we hope to resolve this problem once and for all."
