Largs roads campaigner John Burleigh highlights the dangers of a narrow pavement on the main street in a video blog.
John said: "There is already an obstruction with the pavement and this is what people have to overcome."
"The pavement is uneven as kerb is higher by 80mm, so people have to walk round on the narrow kerb area, and could fall over on to the road."
And during the filming of the blog, a woman attempted to cross the road, with a wheelie bin blocking access on the narrow pavement, forcing pedestrians to walk on the road to get round the obstruction.
John believes the narrow stretch of pavement is dangerous and that the pavement, opposite the new Home Hardware store, should be widened.
He added: "The raised kerb makes it a risk of falling over and those who mount it to get by someone coming the other way. The raised kerb is 350mm and one has to balance walking on it.
"The road markings for most of this stretch are double yellow lines which is a civil action penalty. There are zig zag lines at the crossing at Pearson's Garage but I feel strongly they should have extended through to the whole stretch of this narrow road so that no parking should be allowed making it a criminal offence."
John would like local councillors to organise a site meeting with the Roads Department as he would like to see the matter addressed before Easter.
