The Annual 'Michael's Movers 10 Miler' will take place on Millport on Saturday 14 May. It's always a fun event with a great atmosphere and has been raising funds for Parkinson's Disease for a long time, writes Mary Currie.
The event is headed by Maria Righetti, who has won awards for her efforts in her charity campaign, and whose husband Millport man Michael Righetti has Parkinson's.
It is a race around the ten mile flat circuit and saw 250 competitors last year. This year it is anticipated that the total will be doubled to 500. To register now, go online at www.michaelsmovers.org
Everyone will get a really warm welcome and receive a T-shirt and good bag and medal on completion.
