Largs young gymnasts certainly have talent and had starring roles at the recent gym fest in Irvine.

Displaying their new routine "Fire and Ice" for the first time, Largs Gymnastics Club thrilled the audience at the recent gym fest event at the Magnum Centre.

The 23 strong team entertained the 3000 spectators with their amazing tumbling skills, balances and captivating choreography.

The gymnast all train as a team once a week at Inverclyde sports centre under coaches Colette Atkins and Lauren Graham.

It is the last year the event will be held at the Magnum centre in Irvine, where annually 1500 gymnast, 300 coaches, 3000 spectators attend this fantastic event.

Teams travel from all over Scotland, England, Wales, Ireland and this year's event saw teams from Spain and Greece taking part.

The three day spectacular is always extremely popular with high demand for a limited number of places.

The Largs team is always one of the spectators' favourites, and received a great response, and are now back in trainin for their next event which takes place at Durham University in June.
