The North Coast foodbank, based in Largs, has appealed for help to boost supplies following high demand in recent weeks.
The foodbank are desperately in need of food to make up parcels.
A statement on their Facebook page stated: "Due to the high demand over the last three weeks, we have given out about two months food in three weeks.
"We have run out of: Tinned Potatoes, Tinned Tomatoes, Tinned Meats, Tinned Puddings, Sugar, Jam, Rice.
"We are also low on: Tinned Fruit and Veg, Long life fruit Juice, UHT Milk, Teabags, Spaghetti, Pasta, Pasta Sauces, Toothpaste."
Please donate this Thursday if possible in the old Citizens Advice Centre opposite Farmfoods between 12noon and 6pm, or at the Co-op any day.
