£500 from Millport cycle fundraiser
Some young cyclists braved the elements of a typical Scottish summer to raise funds for an important cause.
On Saturday 9 July, Megan Kennedy from Millport and her friend OneT (aka Scott Hutchison) did a sponsored cycle and run around the island, to raise money for the Sarcoma Charity.
Megan and OneT cycled round the island twice, stopping for the second time at Fintry Bay and running from there. They have raised the marvellous sum of just over £500 and still rising.
