Police Scotland is appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted in Largs on Sunday 10 July.
Around 3am, the 26-year-old man was assaulted by a male, in Moorburn road Largs. He was later treated at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for facial injuries.
Detective Constable Stuart McCulloch at Saltcoats CID said:
“This was a very distressing experience for the victim and he will be left with pernament difigurement due to his injuries. It is important that we trace the person responsible as soon as possible.
“I would appeal to anyone who was in the area at that time and saw anything suspicious to contact police via the non-emergency number 101. Alternatively you can call CRIMESTOPPERS on 0800 555 111 where anonymity can be maintained.”
