Citizens Advice now offer a specialist tax service to both new and existing clients in Largs and district as part of a new service with the backing of HMRC.
With an increasing in the demand for tax assistance, residents will now be able to obtain advice about a range of tax issues including PAYE, Special Relief, National Insurance and Tax Credits from their local Citizens Advice.
This represents yet another area of speciality which Citizen's Advice can now deliver, providing quality advice to clients who have complex tax issues alongside the generalist advice that is given by volunteers on a daily basis.
The new service sees a shift in how HMRC deliver advice across the country, enlisting Citizen's Advice, based on their reputable and quality advice service, to help deliver the service.
North Ayrshire Citizens Advice Service recently relocated to 17 Vernon Street in Saltcoats, and as such those wishing to seek help with their tax issues can visit their offices on a drop-in basis to arrange an appointment. Alternatively clients can call the enquiry line on 01294 467848 to speak with a member of staff or visit the NACAS website at www.nacasadvice.org.uk
