St John's Church in Largs is swapping hymns for pop music next weekend.
Largs Rock Choir is a community choir which was formed in 2013 with Jennifer Sim, choir mistress and has 50 lady members.
Jennifer has an association with St John’s Church as her dad was the church organist, and she used to go to the Sunday School and play the piano.
If you would like to see the choir perform well come along to the Dunn Memorial Hall on Saturday November 4 at 7.30pm. The choir will perform pop songs from the eighties up to the present day.
Jennifer said: “It should be a great night with no two performances are ever the same and its wonderful being able to offer the choir members so many different opportunities to perform. The choir have performed at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall and recently at the Edinburgh Fringe."
