There is no doubting it has been a classic summer so far, and the well loved local nightspot The Fiddlers is going to be transformed with two unmissable events coming up in August.
It will be live and loud for Funk v Crunk (Trash Panda versus King Sweet) on Saturday as DJ connoisseurs John Young and David Stratton bring their unique mix of party tunes, disco and heavy funk to the Fidds.
John is delighted to bringing the unique sounds to Largs, and said: "David plays a lot of disco which is up beat and funky, while I go for baseline techno and heavy party music and high energy - put together it is quite a contrast but gives a brilliant sound
"You will hear everything from big disco tunes to music you would expect to hear at the Kelburn Garden Party at 3am - and everything in between!"
"Both of us are very into our music, and we are constantly on the look-out for new tunes.
"We offer a mix of heavy techno, house and funk disco, and maybe even the odd much loved club tune as well,.
"This kind of thing hasn't been on offer in Largs, and we want to create a vibrant party atmosphere from your average white band to the heavier side with dark vibey tunes.
"Largs has so much potential, and are looking at really raising the stakes and making this a party night to remember for the town."
And the fun doesn't stop there as the Fiddlers is ready to roll the years back to the 1990s with a fantastic foam party in 'Kevin and Perry go to Largs' with a celebration of Ibiza dance and trance anthems on Saturday 25 August.
Manager Craig Helm is behind the big event, and said: "It is a real novelty factor - the live music will be round the 90s genre of Kevin and Perry and the Fidds will be decked out with decorations of around that era.
"It is even a nostalgia thing now with foam parties, and it is a great way to get the party started!"
