Members of Skelmorlie Golf Club are hunting for a trophy that has not been seen for 35 years.
The Smart Trophy, which is the oldest trophy for junior golfers at the club, is missing, and hasn't been seen since 1988 sitting in the trophy cabinet at the club.
The trophy was named after former member Walter Smart and his wife, and was first competed for prior to 1958.
A spokesperson said: “The Smart Trophy is a cylindrical wooden trophy about ten inches high with a broad silver band around it with the name engraved and has a Warwick golf ball screwed into the top of it.
“We would like to think that this note jogs some memories of where the trophy might be and that this trophy will find its way back to the trophy cabinet at Skelmorlie Golf Club.”
