Largs Thistle are hosting a golf day in memory of Derek Scott next month and are urging fans to get involved.
The event will take place at Routenburn Golf Club on Friday, July 21, teeing off at 9am.
Derek was club secretary at Largs Thistle, and was also heavily involved in Routenburn Golf Club. He passed away a few days before Christmas last year, having left a strong sporting legacy within the footballing community in the town, from Largs Colts to Largs Thistle 08s.
There will be prizes, treats and plenty of good banter on the big memorial day at the venue, where Derek was golf course manager for 20 years.
This hilly, moorland course offers the golfer an unforgettable experience.
Routenburn Golf Course is a fantastic example of an original James Braid designed golf course - the hilly, moorland course offers a challenge for all levels of golfers as well as breathtaking views over to Arran, the Cumbraes and beyond.
