The kitchen of a popular bar diner in Largs will be closed until Friday while essential refurbishment work takes place.
The Paddle Steamer, in Gallowgate Street, will still be open for serving drinks but no food will be on offer until midday on January 12.
Customers were told in the JD Wetherspoons pub at the weekend that new flooring was being installed.
Signs have been put up around the bar diner area stating that the kitchen closure is due to "essential maintenance."
The sign states: "We will not be serving any food during this time.
"We apologise for any inconvenience caused."
