A support group that provides emergency assistance to local communities held their first training night of 2024 for volunteers.
The Largs Community Resilience team responds to local emergencies and can be contacted via Police Scotland, North Ayrshire Council or directly via their Facebook page.
The team support local communities during severe weather each winter, including supplying sandbags and diverting water from properties.
A spokesperson for Largs Community Resilience said: "It was a great turnout for our first training night of 2024.
"We covered cardiac arrest, use of defibrillators and actions on choking.
"It was all good hands-on refresher training in our role strengthening communities and supporting our local population."
