History buffs can find out more about their family origins at a workshop event taking place in Largs this week.
The first North Ayrshire Family History Society workshop of the new year will be on Friday, January 26.
People who are interested in finding out more about genealogy can head along to Largs Museum from 2pm to 3.30pm on the day.
The North Ayrshire Family History Society (formerly Largs & North Ayrshire FHS) was formed in 1988.
Its aim is to promote the study of family history in the local government authority area of North Ayrshire.
