The owners of the award-winning Fish Works takeaway in Largs have announced a temporary closure of the premises.
But fans of the popular fish and chip shop won't have to wait too long for their next tasty treat.
The owners announced the closure on their Facebook page, saying the premises will be shut for three days for the insatllation of new equipment.
They said: "We will be closed on Tuesday 6th, Wednesday 7th and Thursday 8th February for our new frying range to be fitted.
"We apologise for any inconvenience caused during this period and we can’t wait to see you all on February 9 when we reopen with our new range and the final piece of our renovation."
