AN AWARD-WIINNING takeaway in Largs is offering discounted fish suppers to celebrate its recent refurbishment.
The Fish Works recently had a new frying range installed - and is looking forward to the National Fish and Chip Awards in little more than two weeks, where the business has been named as a finalist.
The 'half suppers' are smaller in size than their main portions but at £5 aren't to be sniffed at.
Co-owner Tiffany Irvine said: "To celebrate our refurbishment, new frying range and The National Fish & Chip Awards being just over two weeks away, we have put an amazing special offer - £5 for a half fish and chips and sausage and chips.
"Pop in to see how good the shop looks.
"We are counting down the days to The National Fish and Chip Awards final on February 28 in London.
" We have dedicated this year to improving The Fish Works in all aspects and showcasing this to the judges after coming third in the UK last year and best in Scotland."
