Police, coastguard and lifeboat personnel have been called out to a report of a disturbance on Cumbrae.
The multi-agency response came following reports of an incident close to the centre of Millport in the early hours of February 18.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of a disturbance on Quayhead Street in Millport around 12.55am on Sunday, February 18.
“Officers attended and no one was injured or arrested."
It was the second callout in the space of a few hours for the Largs lifeboat crew, who had responded on Saturday evening - while preparing for an event in town as part of their 60th anniversary celebration - to a report of a capsized yacht at Largs Yacht Haven.
