ONE of the UK's most acclaimed virtuoso violinists will take to the stage in the final concert in the Music in West Kilbride winter programme.
Charlotte Rowan will be accompanied by the talented Charlotte Stevenson on piano at what promises to be a spectacular evening of sparkling chamber music excellence.
Originally from Clackmannanshire, Charlotte Rowan's musical journey took her across the Atlantic to the prestigious Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore, USA, where she distinguished herself as concert mistress of the Conservatory Orchestra at just 16.
Her remarkable talent has taken her from the Washington Performing Arts Series to masterclasses with luminaries like Midori and the Juilliard String Quartet.
With a repertoire spanning centuries, from baroque to contemporary compositions, Charlotte Rowan has captivated audiences internationally.
Charlotte Stevenson's expertise spans piano, singing, and harp. With accolades including an LRAM Diploma and performances in prestigious cathedrals across Britain, Stevenson brings a wealth of experience and artistry to the stage.
The duo have curated a captivating programme, featuring gems like Shostakovich's haunting Romance from The Gadfly and the electrifying Carmen Fantasy by Sarasate.
From soul-stirring melodies to breath taking virtuosity, the evening promises to be a feast for the senses.
