The delighted team at Motherland Spice in Saltcoats were named Ayrshire's best at the Scottish Curry Awards.
It was another triumph for Mahdav Bandhari, his wife Radha and the team at the restaurant, who have raked in the awards in recent years.
The Motherland Team, who specialise in Nepalese cousine, were also finalists in the Curry Restaurant of the Year for South West Scotland category this year at the glitzy event at Glasgow's Double Tree Hilton, held on Monday, April 15.
Host of the awards, comedian and presenter Tommy Sandhu welcomed Madhav onto the stage after the win.
A delighted Madhav told the audience: "Thank you very much for this Scottish Curry Award. My peoople, my team, really appreciate it.
"Our staff are gifted from the gods. They are really hard working.
"We really appreciate our brilliant customers and thank you once again for this award."
The restaurant faced tough competiton from across Ayrshire in the category, with Priya in Ayr winning a highly commended award.
Other Ayrshire finalists were the Jaipur Indian Restaurant in Ardrossan, Lawthorn Farm, Taj Bar & Kitchen in Prestwick, and Spice at Route 77, in Symington.
In other categories, The Curry Leaf in Ayr won the prestigious Takeaway of the Year award, while Ayr's 3Idiots won Recommended Restaurant of the Year, chosen by the event organisers.
Winner Madhav said later: "We are delighted and honoured to win this in the face of such great competition from across Ayrshire.
"I have to pay tribute to the incredible team we have at Motherland Spice, in the kitchens, front of house and our delivery team. They really deserve this award.
"Most of all, we really appreciate our loyal customers who have supported us from the start and keep coming back for more.
"It wouldn’t have been possible without our customers' support. Everything happened thanks to them.
"It's been a great night for us. Thank you once again to our loyal customers, my family and my staff."
