Police are investigating a failure to stop and report a road accident at Largs Campus.

The incident happened last month, on March 24, and police enquiries are continuing.

It was one of three such incidents in the town during the reporting period of mid March to mid April.

A similar incident happened in Allanpark Street in Largs on March 23, and then another such incident went unreported in Frazer Street on April 8.

On each occasion the victim reported the crime, while the protagonist drove away without informing the police, or making contact with the victim.

The matters were contained within the monthly crime report to Largs Community Council.
