Roots Hair Show took place in the Fiddllers Nightclub in Largs this month in 1989, as hairstyles of the period were in the spotlight.
There were plenty of recognisable school pupils taking part: do you recognise any of them?
Largs Brownies were also busy putting on a presentation and made tea and cakes for all the retired Brown Owls, and as you can see, it was a hoot!
And Cumbrae Dramatic Club were rolling up the big curtain for a coffee morning fundraiser and prepared with a promotion photo provided by trusty island snapper, the late Walter Kerr, in the DA Hall which is still hosting functions today.
And Largs Colts were showing off their football skills by winning a match at Skelmorlie, and posed for a team photograph including Simon Shephard, Anthony Timmons, Robert Finn and Andy McLaughlin.
Starting out on a new adventure at school was the latest intake of primary one pupils at Fairlie Primary.
