A group of Americans visiting Largs via an outreach programme with the Church of Nazarene have been getting to work on sprucing up the town this week.
The group from Midland Valley community Nazarene Church South Carolina are here in Largs doing community outreach work and are helping at the new Barrfields community garden.
Largs Green Futures spokeswoman Wendy Low Thomson said: "We have a busy week ahead down there and are so delighted they are here to help us."
The Largs Church of the Nazarene have welcomed a group of 22 worshippers from the United States...but they haven't arrived on the Clyde Coast for a holiday.
They are here until May 17, and during their visit will be lending a hand in a range of community projects that the local Church of the Nazarene is heavily involved in.
They are also going to be doing some painting and general upgrades at the Church of the Nazarene in Largs, and if weather permits, are going to paint some of the front of the church building, as well as providing help and assistance to other green projects in the town.
Pastor Tasha Alison of the Church of The Nazarene, whose parents are coming over on the trip, said: "Some of the group coming over are electricians and some of them are joiners, and they will be able to do pretty significant work.
"They have sent money ahead to source supplies, and they have raised the money themselves to come on the trip.
"We have several couples, and then we have two families with older teenagers. For some of them it will be their first visit to Scotland.”
