St Mary's Primary pupils were looking resplendent for their Holy Communion at the Star of the Sea Church in Largs last weekend.
The pupils lined up to receive the Sacrament of Holy Communion from Father Peter Magee, and received high praise from the school and the church on the big day.
A St Mary's Primary spokesperson said: "We couldn’t be prouder of our children who received the Sacrament of Holy Communion last weekend.
"They are an absolute credit to their wonderful families, it was an honour to support them in their faith journey.
"Thank you to Fr. Peter for his beautiful words and all the love and care he has shown the children as they have prepared to receive the sacraments this year.
"We are very grateful to our prayer partners for keeping us in their prayers, and to our music ministry, floral arrangers and pass keepers for helping to make the day run so smoothly.
"The children who received their Holy Communion this weekend would like to thank everyone for their prayers and gifts.
"They would especially like to thank Fr. Peter, our Parent Council and St. Mary’s Primary for the lovely gift bag they received, and Mrs Ryan for her help with this."
