Christmas started this week at GB as all sections started to get ready for our Annual Family Night. The Explorers were making decorations out of plates. The Juniors were making winter hats and the Brigaders were working on their telling of the Christmas using Lego.

On Saturday a team of Explorers and Juniors went to Room to take part in the North Ayrshire Division swimming gala. All the girls swam really well and many won medals. We are delighted that the team from 1st Large came first. The day was all the more special as a number of parents and girls came down to cheer them on.

The girls and officers had a busy week this week making lots of craft for our upcoming coffee evening. The girls were also busy practising carols for our entertainment on the evening. The coffee evening is on Tuesday 5th December, entry £2, tea, coffee, mince pies and girls craft. It's open to parents and friends and starts at 6.30pm.

Girls Brigade is open to any girl of school age. The girls enjoy lots of different activities from crafts and competitions, to drama and displays. There are opportunities to widen your horizons too, by learning new skills, gaining awards and making a difference in your local community.

Whether you're five, 18 or any age in between, Girls' Brigade girls really do pack the whole world into one great night a week!
