The first ever major Scotland and Pakistan fashion event is to take place in Glasgow on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 March 2018, organised by Miraal Fashion. 

Alongside leading, big-name designers from Pakistan including Deepak Pervani, Umar Sayeed, Mahma Saleem, Shazia Kiyani, Emraan Rajput and Maazjee, the Scotland Pakistan Fashion Week aims to showcase up-and-coming Scottish designers. 

Scottish and Scottish-based designers at the beginning of their careers, finishing their studies or recently graduated, are invited to showcase their creations as part of the shows on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 March, 2018.  For more details on how to take part, please contact natalie@miraal.co.uk  Deadline for applications is 15 February 2018.

The Scottish Pakistan Fashion Week will showcase a mix of breathtaking Pakistani designs and Scottish fashion, presenting traditional, contemporary and a fusion of both Western and Asian styles for men and women. Pakistani fashion has boomed in the past decade across Europe, especially so in the UK. The Scotland Pakistan Fashion Week will provide a welcome lens on Pakistani fashion for Scotland.

Mr Syed Quazafi, Director of Miraal fashion says, “We aim to really put Glasgow and Scotland on the map for Asian fashion, and introduce new faces to the world.  We will be showcasing Scottish and Pakistani designers, both cultures which are an inherant part of this multi-cultural country, working together to present great, cross-cultural, creative fashion.”
