There are roadworks taking place on the Largs A78 trunk road throughout this week.
From Douglas Street to Tron Place, there is lighting column replacement work taking place.
The approximate times given by Transerv are between 9.30am and 3.30pm from Monday to Friday this week.
However, readers have informed the 'News' that the works started earlier on Monday morning, resulting in tailbacks to Largs Main Street.
