Various roadworks have been taking place throughout Largs and Skelmorlie during the past week.
Starting on Monday, roadworks are continuing until Friday between the Monktonhouse Roundabout, Prestwick, and Skelmorlie from 9am till 3.30pm, and then a nightshift operation takes place between 8pm and 5.30am for road repairs carried out by Transerv, on behalf of the roads authority Transport Scotland. The works continue until Friday.
Also in Skelmorlie, Station Road,(between Winton Drive and A78 Greenock Road) is to have a road closure between 9.30am and 3.30pm, from Monday to Thursday of this week for carriageway resurfacing works. A diversion route will be in place.
BT Openreach are carrying out the extension to their fast broadband programme, and there will be cabling works on Monday on the A78 near Largs Golf Club from 9.30am till 3.30pm.
And BT have been carrying out overnight works at the Main Street junctions with Aitken Street and Gateside Street from Monday to Wednesday, from 9pm until 6am the following morning, in a bid to limit disruption.
