Adult Panto

A very funny 'Adult Panto' was performed in Millport at The Newton Lounge on Friday April 21. Pint Size Productions brought their 'Peter Pan' show and had two showings at 6pm and 8pm. The Newton Lounge was crowded out for both performances and at 8pm there was even a large hen party. The hens celebrating with local girl Danielle McLachlan who gets married in the Cathedral on June 3. Everyone enjoyed the risque and hilarious antics and dialogue from the talented cast. It was Peter Pan, Wendy, Smee, the crocodile, as you'd never seen them! Into the mix was Captain Hooker, and a marvellous Mary Doll. The script and lyrics were by the very funny Laura Edison who not only directed but performed too. The rest of the 'Motley Crew' were Miles Schofield (Capt Hooker), Natalie Sweeney as Croc/Narrator and Smee, Andy Lambert as Peter, Kim Margery as Wendy, and Pat Nicol as Mary Doll. Lighting and technical was provided by DAG Lighting, make up Ann Margaret McKinnon, and Lindsay Edison was front of house. A marvellous night out. A big thank you to the drama group for travelling to the island to perform.
