FSC (Field Studies Council) Millport offers the 'Snorkelling on Cumbrae' experience on Sunday August 20.
This includes a 1.5 hr snorkelling session led by qualified snorkelling tutors, equipment hire and tea/coffee on site.
The session will take place on the beautiful setting of Kames Bay in the colourful town of Millport, only a 10 minute walk away from the Field Centre. A short lesson on how to use equipment will be followed by a supervised exploration of the nearby rock pools. All tutors are BSAC qualified snorkelling instructors.
They have wetsuits to fit children 8 years and older. However, if a six or seven year old had their own thick wetsuit, they can participate. Adults do not need to accompany children in the water, but they must be on shore at all time.
