It's business as usual on the Isle of Cumbrae despite roadworks on the main thoroughfare.
The above picture was posted up by Jensen Newton on the island, who runs the Crazy Golf facility on the seafront.
He said: "The workmen are digging a trench across the road to lay some wires to the black electricity junction box, to power some new street lights. Hopefully the disruption won't last too long but we are here regardless and all rides are open and ready to go."
A spokesman for North Ayrshire Council said: "It is for new power connections for three additional pillars for the Millport seafront illuminations. The works will be completed by Monday August 21."
