The annual 10.5 mile road race around Cumbrae takes place this Sunday at 2pm.

The race is on the road that goes round the island, the B896, and goes in an anti-clockwise direction. It is very flat apart from a slope very near the end.
Free refreshments after the race and medals to all finishers. This is a Scottish Athletics Permit event conducted under UK Athletics Rules. Bib numbers will not be mailed out. They should be collected from the DA Hall, Millport, which is opposite the Town Hall. Changing is at Cumbrae Primary School. Please bring a copy of the e-mail sent to you by Entry Central which shows your bib number or have it available on your phone.
A new UK athletics rule states that for health and safety reasons, headphones must not be worn during the race. Runners risk disqualification is this rule is ignored.
