The Millport Branch of the Royal British Legion held a Merchant Navy Parade on Saturday 30 May with the Isle of Cumbrae RBLS Pipe Band in attendance.
There was a short service at The Cairn Memorial led by Rev. Marcus Thane. This was followed by a parade from West Bay Park to The War Memorial where the salute was taken by Colonel Donald Ross OBE, Chairman of The Regimental Association of The Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders. Representatives of The Nautical College were also in attendance.
