There was a number of break-ins to sheds in the Tarbert Avenue area of West Kilbride.
One resident managed to acquire images of the intruder and shared it on social media Facebook pages, and also messaged the images to police. Video footage shows an intruder running by the camera during daylight hours.
The break-ins happened on Friday 16 December. People in the local neighbourhood are reminded to be vigilant.
A window was smashed at the former Helter Skelter teenage cafe between Friday and Sunday. A four and a half by one and a half window was damaged in the vandalism.
A 25 year old man was reported to the Procurator Fiscal in relation to drink driving after he was stopped on the shore road between West Kilbride and Ardrossan at 9am on Sunday.
