A football memorial match is taking place in memory of Largs man Colin Sutherland at the Barrfields 3G this Saturday afternoon kicking off at 3pm.
The teams which are taking part are the old JG Sharp’s side vs a local select side.
Colin, tragically died in an industrial accident at Hunterston last November, and the football match has been organised by Colin’s friends for a special and unique occasion in his memory. The organisers would like to thank John Sharp for all his help, and the Largs Celtic Supporters Club who also had a plaque put up for Colin at Celtic Park. Thanks also go to Martin Phillips of Largs Thistle F.C for his help, and Graham Gilchrist for providing his services as a referee for the game.
