Largs Thistle have a chance to rest some of their injured players before their next league fixture at Auchinleck on Saturday 4 February.
Thistle's provisional league tie at Glenafton this weekend has been dropped as Glens have a rescheduled Scottish Cup tie versus East Kilbride.
The Barrfields side have to dust themselves down and re-group after two narrow one goal defeats to Beith and Rob Roy, before they face the huge challenge of Talbot.
Nicky Jamieson injured his back in the 1-0 victory over Kilwinning, Gary Fleming broke hie toe, and Matt Bennett and Alec McWatters have ankle and groin strains respectively.
Thistle boss Stuart Davidson says Largs will keep battling away after a 2-1 defeat to Rob Roy on Saturday. He said: "We started well on front foot, aggressive, and attacking them, and I feel that is the time we want to get a goal, but I felt we should have had two penalties. That was a bit of a kick in the teeth, and then we conceded the goal just before half-time which is never a good time.
"It was a scrappy game, and sometimes you need to win ugly, and that is what Rob Roy did. But that is something we need to do.
"When you are playing teams at the top of the table, you have to limit their chances, and defend properly, they don't give us easy chances. But from our point of view, we gave Rob Roy easy chances and it was poor.
"As soon as we got the goal back, that is the time to get a second goal. Robert Love had an effort but the ref gave a bye kick, and Rob Roy held out.
"The boys did show fight to get the goal back, and we showed a bit of character, but we have to defend better, and restrict the opportunities for the other team."
In the relegation dogfight, Troon broke a six defeat run by beating Pollok, and travel to basement boys Kilwinning on Saturday.
Stuart said: "Troon winning is a bit of a blow, but to be honest, if we are not going to win our games, it doesn't matter what other teams are doing. We need to win games to give ourselves a chance."
"We have to roll our sleeves up. We have players capable of winning games, but we switched off against Rob Roy and were punished. We need to keep battling for everything."
