North Ayrshire Amateur Swim Club are delighted to welcome Ross Paul Douglas as Head Coach. A spokesman for the club said: "Not only does Ross come with a wealth of experience both in and out the water, but also brings a winning, positive attitude. We are all looking forward to the future and we are delighted Ross accepted our post, Thank you Ross!" The club recently enjoyed some sunshine weather overseas on the Isle of Cumbrae as members cycled a combined total of 194 laps around the island over the course of a morning and afternoon. The event was to raise funds for their summer training camp in Lanzarote later this year.
* Fairlie Bowling Club hosts the Jimmy Williamson 2 Bowl Mixed Pairs on 24 July, starting at 1pm. Entry sheets are available on the Club noticeboard. The event is open to all club members. The Specsavers 2016 winners are S McAulay, Wilma Rodger, Kathleen McGinty and Edward McMillan. A great day had by all. Thanks to Specsavers for their continuing association with the club. And the winners of the David Munro Open Pairs last month were Gordon Grundy and Michael Forrest. Congratulations.
